Why do  you enjoy long distance driving?

Best way to see the country side, meet the locals and travel without pesky other boring people on a bus.

What was your most enjoyable trip and why?

Driving around Ireland and seeing so many sights that I had read about over the years.

Highlight?

Guinness

Visit to Guinness factory in Dublin and now able to enjoy a drop on special occasions. Also visiting all the James Joyce ‘Pubs’ in Dublin

Lowlight?

Blow out in Chev Corvette in middle of Route 66, with run flats, no spare tyre and a large hole in the mag wheel.

Best tips?

Read up all the travel brochures, find out where they take the tourists and if it sounds interesting drive there yourself!
